Introducing Dimitra Chatzichrysou

We’re delighted to introduce Dimitra Chatzichrysou as the newest member of the amazee.io team!

Joining us as a Platform Engineer, Dimitra brings a rich background in cloud native technology, a passion for problem-solving, and a collaborative spirit that perfectly aligns with our mission to be the leading open source hosting company providing technical advice, superior support and a platform that is scalable, reliable, flexible and secure, built collaboratively with our customers.

Dimitra’s tech journey began during her studies in Electrical and Computer Engineering, which led her to the prestigious CERN (European Organization for Nuclear Research). For over four years, she contributed to CERN’s IT Department as a DevOps Engineer, where she honed her skills in developing and managing cloud native platforms for scientific communities. Working in such a cutting-edge environment shaped her approach to tackling challenges with efficiency, adaptability, and an iterative mindset.

Dimitra thrives on collaboration, valuing the unique perspectives that emerge in a diverse team and finds immense satisfaction in taking on complex challenges, designing thoughtful solutions, and seeing them through to implementation.

Now at amazee.io, Dimitra is thrilled to channel her expertise and creativity into enhancing our open source hosting platform. With her technical skills and drive to innovate, we can’t wait to see the incredible contributions she’ll make.

Outside of her technical skills, Dimitra has a creative side that shines through her love of lindy hop dancing, pâtisserie making, and cinema. She’s also an avid traveler, always eager to immerse herself in new experiences and cultures that break the routine of daily life.
