Introducing Rolando Scott, Technical Account Manager

It’s our pleasure to welcome Technical Account Manager, Rolando Scott, the newest addition to the amazee.io team. What an excellent start to the year!

Rolando has had quite the journey to amazee.io. Born in Costa Rica before moving to and growing up in the USA, he was required to master the art of communication across cultures and languages from a very young age.

Following his studies in systems engineering, Rolando decided to start his career with a bang by setting up his own web agency, as he wanted to combine his long-standing interest in tech with a career that involved working with people. Solving problems for people who need support is one of the most satisfying parts of a tech career for Rolando and something he has looked for in each position since.

During his career, he has had the opportunity to work with companies like Yahoo!, IBM, Taoti Creative, as well as many startups. Most of his energy has been spent in a technical lead position on projects, being responsible for technical direction and being the key decision-maker on engineering and architectural topics. This has often involved leading an engineering team in tandem.

Outside of work, Rolando is no less busy! His life centers around his 3 exceptional children, and, having spent his formative years in the USA, he’s a big Hockey and American Football fan. Rolando is also a volunteer firefighter and is working towards his private pilot license, so keep your eyes open for the day he will fly by with an amazee.io banner up in the sky!
